We now have seven classrooms which are not enough for the big numbers in some classes. Some classes need steaming but due to the number of classrooms available pupils stay together in congested rooms.

Last year we had one latrine with only five stances for pupils and teachers but HYT and the Rotary club have constructed for us another block with five stances. We appreciate their contribution towards making a real place.

we were allocated a water tank by Kamuli Local Government in the year 2006. We have been using that tank and we are still using it still the HYT and Rottary club have constructed for us two more water tanks. We dont think we have the words suitable enough for thank you for this.

The HYT still renovated the school kitchen and made it energy saving. They also bought us two big saucepans for preparing the meals.

They inproved the floor for P4. That class near the headteachers office. it had become a stock for jiggers in this school. We thank them. The entire community is grateful.

More still HYT Members gave the school sports uniform and a guitar. I term this school big now because of HYT.

The most valuable project of teachers quarters had made everybody in Makoka and the entire district happy. Six teachers can now reside at the school. We thank you the HYT group. We request you to extend our gratitude to the donors in the UK for these developments.

With all these developments, we expect the following.

Increase in enrolment
Improvement in academic performance
Improvement in attendance of teaching and pupils
Save fuel for cooking

lastly I'm deeply indebted to the HYT group for the unwavering support to this school and the entire community. We now look like that place in Haileybury itself. I thank everybody for coming.

For god and my country.

Kateega Robinah Zikusooka, Headteacher.
